Each year, CYAN supports Great American Smokeout (GAS) events on college campuses to increase awareness of tobacco-related issues on campus as well as promote cessation services.
When:
Thursday, November 18th, 2010
Who:
CYAN is able to support Great American Smokeout events and activities on college and university campuses in California. If you are a tobacco prevention advocate and you work with, work on, or attend a college or university campus in California, CYAN is able to support your tobacco-free GAS event.
What CYAN typically offers:
In years past, we have provided registered campuses with free materials to use in quit kits (e.g., cinnamon toothpicks, gum, etc.) as well as print materials from the California Smokers’ Helpline. Additionally, we have supported paid media placement in campus newspapers (as funding permits).
Registration:
Registration for this event is closed. Check back in early Fall 2010 to learn more about the event and for registration materials.
Support Materials:
In addition to financial support of campus media, we are pleased to provide sample artwork, flyers, and and Event Turnkey Kit developed by CYAN.
